The Parish of Bridport

We are a single Church of England parish comprising six churches, each with their own distinctive character.  We are proud to serve our local neighbourhoods across:

• St Swithun's, Allington

• Holy Trinity, Bothenhampton

• Holy Trinity, Bradpole

• St Mary's, Bridport

• St Mary's, Walditch

• St John's, West Bay

Our Mission & Heart

We are here to love and serve God and our local communities. Our strap line is Making Jesus known. This missions shows itself in various ways- from focussing on human dignity, wellbeing, and social justice, to caring for the environment; from praying and reading the Bible to celebrating communion together. Our heart is to ensure that every person experiences and grows into the fullness of God's love shown in Jesus Christ. This doesn’t mean we always get it right! Part of being a welcoming community is that we recognise we make mistakes. We can, together, both live and learn about following Jesus Christ no matter where we are on our journey of faith.
